The fusion mixture was plated in 96-well tissue culture plates. The viable hybrids were screened with an ELISA. Hybridoma culture supernatants were added to coated and blocked microtiter plates containing CsCI gradient-purified virus. Positive cultures were expanded and subcloned twice by limiting dilution, and ascites fluids were produced in pristane-primed BALB/c mice.</attribute>
